I have always thought the idea of meditation sounded great. What better way to start your morning than setting your intentions for the day and focusing your mind?
Apparently quieting my mind and sitting still for more than five minutes doesn’t come naturally to me.
I implored the advice of some friends who meditate, asking for any tips or tricks they might have. Some of the things they shared included finding a quiet place outdoors, using energy crystals, or taking a look at some beautiful meditation cards—this last tip coming from our very own Becca.
However, I am one of those people who always has five million thoughts running through my brain, so I was never able to calm myself long enough to really enjoy the benefits of meditation.
That doesn't mean I'm going to give up though!
I'm going to keep trying, and hopefully, eventually, I will be able to still my mind.
